Comfies!

Some days just call for a pair of sweats and a hoodie. The weather was perfect for snuggly clothes and playing outside. Maisie loves these pants that used to be Greyson's (with the Cutie Hoots patch treatment of course!) and I love how they look with her cozy sweatshirt and sneakers.

Owl Pile

This little (very little now) dress was a hand-me-down from a friend who knew that I could find a way to cover the evidence of fun (doesn't that term make stains sound delightful?!) that had accumulated over the years of wear. I was thrilled! Usually my piles only have three little critters so it was fun to add a fourth... and the little button flowers look cute but serve a purpose (someone had A LOT of fun in this dress!) as well. Maisie used to wear it with cute tights or leggings but those days have passed and now it only goes with pants. It's days are numbered here but we can't wait to pass it on to the next lucky little girl in line!!

Sweet Green Skirt

I love this green skirt!! With the pleats and four gold buttons in the front it could be a stuffy, formal piece but the green, ah, the green... it is so refreshing (dare I say funky?!) that one can't help but love it. Pair it with black and white sneakers, a comfy pink shirt and polka-dotty tights and you are ready for anything! Oh, and don't forget your purse!!

Peek-A-Boo!!

The weather today was so gorgeous that the whole neighborhood was outside ready to bask in the sun. Unfortunately for my photo shoot that meant lots of chatting and not a lot of picture taking. Alas, when I headed inside to look at my shots this was the only one worth using! Maybe when Maisie is up from her nap I'll try and get some more but in case I don't... peek-a-boo!!

Sassy Molassy

Well, this little Miss certainly knows what she wants. She hand-picked today's outfit right down to the semi-loose jeans tucked into her boots. She could not wait to get outside and strut her stuff for the camera!!

Of course she had to pause her strutting when she caught sight of someone she didn't know and, in an amazing display of her sparkling social graces, returned their wave with this sweet and welcoming face...

Color Conundrum

Ah orange pants, what a delightful challenge you are! On a cold and dreary day like today you serve to brighten our moods but what are we to put with you? My muddled brain could not possibly sort out all the wonderful possibilities this morning so I merely found a shirt in a color that I LOVE with orange (purple of course), got my little pumpkin dressed and called it a day. I'm pretty sure this impish (and somewhat terrifying) grin means that Maisie was delighted with the results!

Pondering Panda Perfection

Maisie is loving her new panda shirt so I'm willing to ignore these unfortunately sunny and shady shots because I know I'll have an opportunity to take more of her in it soon. Maybe at the zoo?

Dragon Tale

 I love this kooky dragon outfit!! The shirt is actually for boys (and size 18 months!) but I couldn't resist putting it on Maisie with her argyle tights and teal tutu because they all look so perfect together!! Not to mention her orange and silver arrow sneakers... who says stuff for boys doesn't work on little girls?!

She's Back!!

Whew, what a month! Maisie was so excited to be back in front of the camera... especially since she got to wear her new (to her!) tiered tutu and her favorite owl t-shirt. And of course the ensemble wouldn't be complete without a pair of kelly green crocs!!
